Gabrielle Payne
Hello there! I’m so excited to be here, my name is Gabrielle Payne, and I’ll be teaching third grade at Edison. I have a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction (with an emphasis on reading instruction.) I was born in Hobbs, raised in Lovington, so I am a “native” to the Lea County area. In my free time, I enjoy music of all forms, I have taken piano lessons, choir, and also play the flute. I have been TESOL and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) trained, and will also be Assistant Director in the play Lion King Jr. this year through Hobbs’ 21st Century after school program! I enjoy writing poetry and stories in my free time, and working on publishing my new children’s books. I am looking forward to the opportunity to teach your child this year, let’s learn!
